Hi, I’m Kaity!

If you decide to book me as your photographer, then I will want to get to know you and its only fair that you learn a little about me too…

I grew up in Brigantine and I spent most of my childhood riding my bike around the island, barefoot and chasing sunsets with my friends. I have always been a memory keeper and obsessed with photographs. I carried a disposable camera everywhere we went and I still have shoeboxes and scrapbooks full of memories to prove it.

I started to form a real interest in the art of photography when I was in high school and learned film and worked in a dark room for the first time. Once my nieces and nephews were born, I was lucky enough to have subjects to practice with and I loved documenting them as they grew. That opportunity opened up many doors and encouraged me to start my own photography business.

I began with portrait work, moving into weddings and families, and then after a few years, and after having my own babies, I decided to educate myself on newborn and motherhood photography. It’s a gift I am so blessed to have. Having a family myself, I know how precious the time is and I have a deep love for what I do.

I like to capture genuine emotion and personalities. The best pictures are silly faces and candid moments; the moments between the “cheese”. They’re real. I love meeting clients and learning their stories. I love giving friends, family, and clients photos that capture both defining life events and fleeting little moments.

Besides photography and my family… I also love: Brigantine and the beach, Disney world, sweets, watching our shows after the kids go to bed, and date nights with their dad. When I’m not taking pictures, I am chasing around our two crazy kids, pretend planning our next trip, or shopping for all of the pretty props and fun things for your shoot!
